Un jour après la sortie de la pré-version intermédiaire du fameux navigateur de Microsoft, des chercheurs annoncent la découverte d'une faille d'un niveau de risque "intermédiaire"
Le moins que l'on puisse dire c'est qu'il n'a pas fallu longtemps aux chercheurs pour mettre à mal la sécurité de la pré-version de la bêta 2 de la firme de Redmond.
D'après le site d'information The Register qui cite l'informaticien Tom Ferris, un bug potentiel de "déni de service" dans IE7, permettrait à un Hacker d'arrêter le navigateur et d'exécuter un code malicieux sur la machine.
Le journal précise que Ferris a apporté la preuve de l'existence de cette faille dans la IE 7 bêta et considère le risque comme étant d'un niveau de dangerosité "moyen".
Microsoft a immédiatement confirmé cette information sur son blog officiel, précisant que le bug découvert par Ferris pouvait effectivement entraîner l'arrêt d'IE7, la firme ajoute que "toutefois, nous n'avons pas constaté que ce bug était exploitable en l'état".
Le groupe a précisé que ce dernier avait également été remarqué lors de test du programme en interne, et qu'une mise à jour allait bientôt être publiée. Redmond, estime que le risque reste faible, car le bug est particulièrement difficile à exploiter.
Ce n'est pas le premier problème que rencontre le nouvel opus d'IE, (lire nos articles), mais étant donné que le bêta test vient de commencer cela n'est pas si étonnant.
